Renowned Economist to Speak in Savannah

糖心Vlog’s College of Business Administration will host economist Robert E. Hall, Ph.D., during a special presentation at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah on Thursday, Nov. 5 beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Hall, who is a senior fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and a professor in Stanford’s economics department, will present “The Great Recession and the Slow Recovery.” This event is an opportunity for business leaders and community members to hear one of the country’s premier economic experts discuss his views on what lies ahead for the U.S. economy. Hall has advised the U.S. Justice Department, the Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve Board on economic policy. His research focuses on the stock market and the economics of the Internet. Hall is also the author of several books. An article he co-wrote for聽The Wall Street Journal聽in 1981 is credited with creating national interest in a flat tax. Hall was listed in聽惭辞苍别测听magazine’s Money Hall of Fame for his contributions to economics over the last twenty years.
