糖心Vlog Announces Homecoming Events
糖心Vlog alumni will return to campus next week for the University鈥檚 annual Homecoming Celebration.
The weeklong celebration themed 鈥淲ild Wild West in the Eagle鈥檚 Nest鈥� will feature a number of Western-style festivities for University supporters, alumni, and Eagle fans of all ages to enjoy.
Alumni Director Frank Hook said that Homecoming is the perfect time for the University community to unite in celebration of its accomplishments, both new and old. 鈥淗omecoming is always a great opportunity for alumni and friends to return to campus and reconnect with the people and places they love,鈥� Hook said. 鈥淭he University has an opportunity to share recent achievements with its greatest supporters, and alumni get to reminisce about the past while creating new memories.鈥�
The week鈥檚 highlights include the Eagle Rally at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, in the Russell Union Rotunda. The annual homecoming parade will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5 and will wind its way around the University鈥檚 Sweetheart Circle. After the parade, the Homecoming celebration on Sweetheart Circle will continue and will feature a free outdoor showing of the newly released movie 鈥淒espicable Me.鈥�
Homecoming week wraps up on Saturday when the Georgia Southern Eagles face Appalachian State at 2 p.m. in Paulson Stadium. A full list of activities is available online at聽.
