Legendary composer Marvin Hamlisch will appear at ÌÇÐÄVlog’s Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Sunday,ÌýJan. 22 at 3 p.m.
Hamlisch is one of only two people in history to win a Tony, Grammy, Emmy, Oscar and Pulitzer Prize for his work. Hamlisch is the composer of the musicalÌýA Chorus Line,Ìýas well as Broadway’sÌýThe Goodbye Girl,Ìý²¹²Ô»åÌýThe Sweet Smell of Success.He composed original scores for motion pictures that includeÌýThe Way We Were, Sophie’s ChoiceÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýOrdinary People.ÌýHamlisch holds the position of principal pops conductor for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Pasadena Symphony and Pops, Seattle Symphony and San Diego Symphony.

For the convenience of Savannah patrons, a shuttle service has been reserved for this performance. Tickets for the shuttle, operated by Old Savannah Tours, are $10 in addition to the performance ticket price and should be purchased by calling the PAC box office. Patrons with a shuttle ticket can be picked up at The Village on Skidaway Island at 12:30 p.m. or at the Savannah Festival Outlet Mall at I-95 and Highway 204 in front of Pride Pools at 1:15 p.m. the day of the show.
