According to , the School of Nursing at Georgia Southern online RN-BSN Nursing Program has been ranked eighth out of 25 similar online nursing programs across the nation. Criteria for the rankings included high academic standards and have received accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (CCNE). To determine what school qualified as having high academic standards, school had to have a 90% pass rate or higher for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), the primary examination for licensing nurses in the United States and Canada.
