• The program cost may be paid in installments per a straightforward schedule.
• The initial payment is a non-refundable $550 deposit.
• The program cost does not cover Georgia Southern tuition and fees; however, HOPE, PELL, and many other forms of financial assistance may be applied to courses delivered through the Wexford Campus.
• The program fills on a first-come, first served basis.
• Any Georgia Southern student may apply, regardless of year.
• A minimum GPA of 2.5 is preferred.
• Fewer university fees apply to the Wexford Campus than Georgia Southern鈥檚 Georgia campuses.

Students must choose two 3-credit-hour courses and CORE 2000 or two 3-credit-hour courses and KINS 1525 from the following list:

• BIOL 1001: Introductory Biology
• BIOL 1001L: Introductory Biology Lab
• BIOL 3099: Selected Topics in Biology
• INTS 2130: Introduction to International Studies (3 credit hours)
• POLS 3239: Human Rights鈥擲ports, Sustainable Development Goals & Ireland (3 credit hours)
• KINS 1525: Wellness鈥擣itness Walking (Core Requirement, 2 credit hours)
• KINS 2535: Introduction to Exercise Science (3 credit hours)
• HSCF 3710: Principles of Personal Training (3 credit hours)
• HIST 2110: U.S. Survey
• HIST 3030: Global History of Sport
• PHIL 2030: Introduction to Ethics (3 credit hours)
• PHIL 3030: Philosophy of Sport
• CORE 2000 Core Capstone: Making Connections (1 credit hour)
• Note: Students are highly encouraged to complete CORE 2000 in Ireland as this version is custom designed to complement the study abroad experience in Wexford.

• Transatlantic airfare, Savannah (SAV) to Dublin (DUB) outbound and DUB to SAV return (with one free checked suitcase in both directions)
• All accommodations in Ireland (Galway, Waterford, and Wexford)
• All program-mandated travel within Ireland
• All entrance, guide, and participation fees for sites visited and activities undertaken as part of the program鈥檚 official schedule
• A group welcome meal early in the program and a group farewell meal late in the program
• The health-insurance packet required by the University System of Georgia

• Payment #1: non-refundable deposit of $550  (due March 1, 2026)
• Payment #2: $2,000 (due March 15, 2026)
• Payment #3: $2,000 (due April 1, 2026)
• Payment #4: $1,000 (due April 15, 2026)

Refunds

• Before 11:50 PM (East Coast Time) on March 22 payment #2 is refundable in full.
• Between 12:00 AM on March 23 and 11:59 PM on March 31, $850 of payment #2 is refundable.
• After 12:00 AM on April 1 payment #2 not refundable.
• Before 11:50 PM (East Coast Time) on April 12, payment #3 is refundable in full.
• Between 12:00 AM on April 13 and 11:59 PM on April 30, $850 of payment #3 is refundable.
• After 12:00 AM on April 31 payment #3 is not refundable.

Medical treatment in Ireland through a hospital emergency department costs no more than 鈧�100 per visit, even if that visit results in hospitalization for one or more nights. In that unlikely event the program pays the 鈧�100 cost.

In most cases, a program graduate assistant or faculty member accompanies the student to the emergency department, although the student is legally obliged to check themselves in at reception (assuming they are able to do so).
