Research Seed Funding Awards

• Purpose:聽Pilot studies that lay the foundation for future聽external funding proposals. (External proposal expected post-award.)
• Budget:聽Up to聽$12,500
• Deadline:聽January 23, 2026, 5 p.m.

Scholarly Pursuit Awards

• Purpose:聽Supports聽scholarly and creative projects聽that result in tangible outcomes such as publications, performances, or artistic works.
• Budget:聽Up to聽$7,500
• Deadline:聽January 23, 2026, 5 p.m.

Competitive Travel Supplement

• Purpose:聽Provides up to聽$1,500聽for national or international聽conference travel聽to present research. Priority given to early-career faculty.
• Budget:聽Up to聽$1,500
• Deadline:聽September 12, 2025, 5 p.m.

Reignite Program

• Purpose:聽Assists faculty in聽revising and resubmitting competitive external grant proposals聽that received strong reviews but were not funded.
• Budget:聽Up to聽$20,000
• Deadline:聽October 13, 2025, 5 p.m.

Impact Area Accelerator Grants

(Dean鈥檚 Office nomination required)

• Purpose:聽Provides 鈥渂arrier-breaking鈥� support to聽expand funded research programs, including summer stipends or research assistant support.
• Budget:聽Up to聽$35,000
• Deadline:聽November 3, 2025, 5 p.m.聽(check with Dean鈥檚 Office for earlier internal deadlines)

Publication Assistance Fund

• Purpose:聽Covers eligible costs for聽accepted faculty publications聽in refereed Q1 and Q2 journals or publishers.
• Budget:聽Up to聽$1,000
• Deadline:聽Rolling (requests accepted July 1 鈥� May 1, or until funds are depleted).

Undergraduate Travel Award

• Purpose:聽Supports undergraduate students presenting research at national or international聽academic conferences.
• Budget:聽Up to聽$1,000 per student
• Deadline:聽September 12, 2025, 5 p.m.
