About Boro Browse

ÌÇÐÄVlog invites campus departments, local businesses, and nonprofit organizations to participate in the Spring 2025 ‘Boro Browse on the Statesboro campus. This signature engagement event offers a chance to:

  • Promote your products, services, or campus offerings
  • Connect directly with Georgia Southern students, faculty, and staff
  • Engage incoming and returning students through interactive booths, giveaways, and more

Whether you’re looking to share information, recruit student workers, or simply increase visibility, ‘Boro Browse is your opportunity to make a strong impression on the Eagle community.

Registration Details

  • Applications are now open!
  • Registration deadline: Tuesday, January 14 at 5:00 PM (or until capacity is reached)
  • There is no registration fee to participate.
  • Off-campus vendors may request up to 2 parking permits (emailed by Friday, January 17).

You may register for one or both events: the â€˜Boro Browse (Statesboro Campus) and the Savannah Browse (Armstrong Campus). Groups with multiple programs or initiatives should consolidate into no more than 1–2 tables.

Participation Guidelines

To ensure a successful and student-focused event, please review the following expectations for all participants:

What You Can Do

  • Sell products or services directly at your table
  • Provide giveaways, brochures, coupons, and free samples
  • Collect job applications from students (if hiring)
  • Create engaging, interactive booths with activities, branded items, or food
  • Bring a tent (max size: 10×10, self-supporting only—no stakes)
  • Bring drinks to stay hydrated

What You Cannot Do

  • Sign contracts or accept deposits of any kind
  • Solicit or accept credit card applications
  • Display or distribute alcohol, tobacco, drug-related items, or promotional content
  • Leave items unattended or expect Georgia Southern to store or secure them
  • Host promotions or set up displays outside of the event date/time

Table & Setup Information

  • Each vendor receives:
    • One 6-foot table
    • Two chairs
  • Table locations are assigned based on registration order
  • Displays must remain within 2–3 feet around the table space
  • Setup time: 10:00 AM – 10:50 AM
  • Event begins promptly at 11:00 AM

Important Notes

  • All vendors must adhere to campus policies and event guidelines.
  • Participation is limited to the date and time of the scheduled event.
  • ÌÇÐÄVlog is not responsible for damaged or left-behind materials.
