Junior Rifle Club at the Shooting Sports Education Center trains young athletes pursuing their passion in rifle through good sportsmanship, discipline, mental strength and integrity. Junior Rifle Club is an opportunity to enhance skills, meet new faces, and compete. Practices take place at the Shooting Sports Education Center on Thursday nights at 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. from October to June.

Eligibility & Dues
Junior Rifle Club is open to youth ages 10 to 17. Rifle experience is not required. High school rifle team members are encouraged to join to receive additional coaching! Yearly membership fees are $150 and include access to the Firearms Range during practice and for additional training time. Club dues are $40 a month, and optional equipment is available for $15 a month.
Working on your accuracy or safety? We offer private lessons at the Shooting Sports Education Center! Our certified instructors can help you with basics like left or right eye dominance, trigger squeeze, breathing control, stance, grip and more. Fill out the Private Lessons form and our staff will reach out to help you get started!

Private Lessons Policy
- A patron is not required to be an approved user to participate in private lessons.
- The patron may not sell, assign or transfer rights to the private lessons purchased to any third party without prior approval.
- Private lessons must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance of the first scheduled lesson. To receive the quantity discount for the private lessons, the lessons must be purchased at one time.
- Training sessions must be paid for in full prior to scheduling the first training session.
- Private lesson refunds will not be issued for any reason, including but not limited to relocation, illness, and or unused sessions (unused sessions can be transferred between Instructors).
- All private lessons sessions must be completed within 120 days from the date of the contract/purchase. Private lesson sessions are void after 120 days from that date have passed.
- Private lesson sessions may only be rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
- If the patron anticipates running late to a session, they should contact the instructor as soon as possible. If 15 minutes have passed and the patron has not arrived to the session, the session will be cancelled without refund.
- If a lesson is cancelled by the instructor, the instructor will notify the patron in advance to reschedule the session.
- Patrons must wear comfortable and appropriate attire, including but not limited to, clean t-shirts, shorts, tights, pants and closed toed shoes. Patrons must be completely ready for the private lesson at the time agreed upon. Failure to be prepared to train may result in a shortened session or possible cancellation of the session. Instructors can provide guidance on appropriate clothing and shoes prior to the session.
- Archery equipment and Firearm equipment must be in a good working order prior to the lesson. If a patron has an equipment malfunction, staff will attempt to fix the problem immediately, but repairs cannot exceed the time limit of the lesson. Any services to equipment may be subject to an additional fee.
