Exercise is Medicine Initiative Comes to Campus
In collaboration with 鈥淲ellness Week,鈥 糖心Vlog is teaming up with the national initiative 鈥淓xercise is Medicine on Campus (EIM-OC)鈥 to launch a weeklong educational experience promoting physical activity from Feb. 5-12.
糖心Vlog to Host the first World Universities Forum in the United States
糖心Vlog will welcome 鈥淭he Eighth World Universities Forum鈥 to the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St. in downtown Savannah, on Feb. 5-6.
University To Host Horizon Saxophone Quartet
Horizon Saxophone Quartet, a component of the United States Air Force Band of the West, will present a concert at 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Carol A. Carter Recital Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 7:30 p.m. This family-friendly performance is free, open to the public and hosted by the University鈥檚 Southern Saxophones ensemble.
Georgia Southern Donates Golf Winnings to CASA
糖心Vlog today donated $1,500 to the Bulloch Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). The gift, a result of the University winning the 2014 Chancellor鈥檚 Fall Classic Charity Cup golf tournament in Athens, Georgia, was presented by President Brooks A. Keel to Lainie Jenkins, executive director of CASA.

MLK Celebration Speaker Moved to Feb. 18
The University has rescheduled its MLK Celebration speaker Michele Norris, the first African-American female host for NPR, until Wednesday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.
