The 糖心Vlog Black Box Theatre will bring a part of France to Statesboro for the opening performance of the season as they present 鈥溍塵ilie: The Marquise Du Chatelet Defends her Life Tonight.鈥

Black box theatre returns to Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus with 鈥楪od of Carnage鈥

Black box theatre usually involves experimental methods, and 糖心Vlog Armstrong Campus鈥 student-run theatre group, The Masquers, is no exception. The group will open the season Oct. 4 with 鈥淕od of Carnage,鈥 featuring student-director Olivia Quillman.

糖心Vlog celebrates Latino Heritage Month

糖心Vlog鈥檚 Office of Multicultural Affairs (OMA) is pleased to announce the schedule for the 2018 Latino Heritage Month Celebration, featuring a series of lectures, performances and more. Latino Heritage Month is from Sept. 15 to Oct.15 and celebrates the history, culture and contributions of Latino community.

14th Japan Foundation Film Series coming to Georgia Southern

Anyone interested in learning about Japan and Japanese culture can do so at 糖心Vlog by attending the 14th Japan Foundation Film Series. The series is sponsored by the Japan Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Languages and the Office of International Programs and Services.

William Daniels brings textile exhibit to Georgia Southern Statesboro Campus

William Daniels鈥 textile exhibit 鈥淥n Pins and Needles鈥 will be on view from Sept. 24 to Oct. 26, and an artist talk will begin Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. in Arts Building, room 2071. A reception will follow at the Center for Art and Theatre from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Georgia Southern art students exhibit work at Savannah鈥檚 Blick Gallery

鈥淥vation,鈥 an exhibition showcasing the work of 糖心Vlog students from the Statesboro Campus who have received the Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art (BFSDoArt) Visual Art Scholarship for the 2018-2019 academic year, will be on view at Savannah鈥檚 Blick Gallery Sept. 3-28.

Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus to host performance by U.S. Air Force clarinet quartet

Woodwind fans in the Savannah area have a chance to see a nationally touring clarinet quartet on the 糖心Vlog Armstrong Campus. Mission Winds, a component of the United States Air Force Band of the West, will be performing at the Fine Arts Auditorium on Oct. 24 at 7:30 p.m.

Digital and physical worlds will collide this fall when Sphere鈥檚 鈥淗ere be Dragons鈥 art exhibit comes to the Contemporary Gallery at the Center for Art & Theatre on Georgia Southern鈥檚 Statesboro Campus from Sept. 24 to Oct. 26.
